Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: August 27, 2026
Your Right to Delete Your Data
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your PWorks account and all associated personal data at any time. This policy explains what data is removed, how long the process takes, and how to initiate a deletion request.
How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to request data deletion:
1Self-Service (Recommended)
If you can log in to your PWorks account, go to your Profile → Account Settings → Account Deletion. After a two-step confirmation, all your personal data is permanently erased within 24 hours. This is the fastest method and requires no contact with support.
2Email Request
If you can no longer access your account, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your PWorks account to:
info@getpworks.comInclude your full name and the email address registered on your account. We may verify your identity before processing the request.
What Data Is Removed
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased:
- Profile information (name, email, phone, address)
- Account access assignments and role permissions
- Onboarding status, progress, and completion records
- Identity verification records
- Signed agreements and legal acknowledgements
- Tax profile information
- Bank account and payout details
- Training assignments and progress
- Project assignments and visit history
- Expense reports and ledger entries
- Job records (as provider or customer)
- Recruitment leads and application records
- Invitation and registration intent records
Timeline
- Self-service deletion: Data is removed immediately upon confirmation. The process completes within 24 hours.
- Email requests: Processed within 30 days of receiving a verified request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Data Retention Exceptions
Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as financial records needed for tax compliance or records of completed transactions. Such data is retained only as long as legally required and then permanently deleted.
Third-Party Login (Facebook / Google)
If you signed up using Facebook or Google, deleting your PWorks account removes all PWorks-stored data. To revoke PWorks's access to your Facebook or Google profile, you can also remove the app from your Facebook or Google account settings under "Apps and Websites."
